JANICE E. RESEWEHR Clarence Janice E. Resewehr, 81, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2018, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 27, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence on Friday, Sept. 28, at 10:30 a.m., with the Rev. Matt Schneider-Adams officiating. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Janice was united in marriage to William Resewehr on Nov. 18, 1956, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He passed away on Dec. 5, 2017. Janice is survived by three sons, Kerry of Cedar Falls, Kirk (Kathy) of Katy, Texas, and Kevin (Tracie) of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jarrett and Jason Resewehr; and three sisters, Delores Ruther, Joan Meyer and Bernita Biere, all of Clarence. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Kelly Jo; four brothers, Walter, Raymond, Harold and Marvin; and a sister, Eleanor Schroeder. Janice was a sweet, caring and giving lady who had a great smile and laugh. She was a devoted farm wife in her earlier years and she truly enjoyed her grandchildren.
