Wanda Lunn will be hosting the spring meeting for the new regional American Iris Society affiliate: “Iris Across Iowa” in her yard this Saturday, May 22. Just food, fun & iris talk. Everyone is welcome who is interested in iris. Location:
526 Bezdek Drive NW Cedar Rapids, from noon to 3 pm.
Also, Wanda is hosting the following: Open Bearded Iris Garden Sunday, May 23 10 am to 4 pm and Saturday, May 29 10 am to 4 pm. Iris garden demonstrations & growing tips. Over 200 different bearded iris cultivars in bloom. Looks like a great year for iris! Registered Historic iris Preservation Garden–one of only 40 nationwide. Everyone welcome! The event is free.
