Betty Ann Schindler passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, at Colonial Manor in Amana at the age of 86 years.
She is survived by three children, Rick (Kathy) Schindler of Phoenix, Ariz., Tamara Schmugge of Charlotte, N.C., and Tonya Strasser of Cedar Rapids; six grandchildren, Danielle (Corey), Derek, Kaitlin, Kylie, Ava and Alana; a sister-in-law, Lucille Buser of Williamsburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2000; two brothers, John Buser and Robert Buser; and a sister, Geraldine Lackender.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home. Memorials are for St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lutheran Interparish School or Essence of Life Hospice.
