Madden, Anthony E. 'Tony'
UPDATED Anthony E. “Tony” Madden, 51, of Marion, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, following a short illness at Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. The family will hold a gathering of friends and family at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his son, Jason Madden (Christina Olivarez); two sisters, Janet (Jim) Breiner and Teresa (Rod) Madden-Knipp; a precious granddaughter, Olivia Rose; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jonie; two infant daughters, Shirley and Mary; a brother, Tim; and three sisters, Mary, Pat, and Carol.
Tony was born July 10, 1959, the son of Henry and Shirley (Accord) Madden in Cedar Rapids. He graduated from Prairie High School. Tony served in the U.S. Air Force for nine years.
