Maker, David Arthur
David Arthur Maker, 66, of Elkader, died Oct. 9, 2012, in University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Celebration of Life: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 20 at Seibert Memorial Hall, Manchester.
Survivors include his children, Daniel, Dennis (Lyndsey), Roxanne Bieber (Brett) and Donald; brothers, Rick, Rod and Terry; sisters, Tina Reyes and Roxanne Bentrim; grandchildren, Rachel, Michael, Tyler, Chase, Jade, Brayden, Lindsey, Gage, Griffin, Gavin and Alexys; and friend, Ashley.
He was preceded in death by his son, Josh; and his parents, Lorna Ricker and Orville Maker.
David was born Oct. 2, 1946, in Postville and was a mechanic for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors.
