Linn supervisors approve salary plan

Linn County supervisors voted this morning to boost Sheriff Brian Gardner's pay 6.35 percent.
The vote to halve the
county compensation board's recommendation means County Attorney Jerry VanderSanden will get a 5.5-percent raise, and other elected officials, including the supervisors themselves, will see a 2.25 percent increase.
