Man dies after jumping off interstate overpass

CEDAR RAPIDS - Police say the man who died after jumping from the Wilson Ave. overpass Wednesday is a 27-year-old from Cedar Rapids.
At about 12:33 p.m., police said the man jumped from the overpass onto I-380, hitting the top of a van. Area Ambulance transported the man to St. Luke's Hospital, where he died from injuries.
Foul play is not suspected, police said, and the driver of the van was uninjured.
