Frontier Airlines adding Des-Moines-Denver flights

Frontier Airlines plans to begin nonstop air service between Des Moines and Denver effective Oct. 24, the discount carrier announced on Wednesday, August 11.
The flights will be offered six days a week from Des Moines International Airport to Denver International Airport.
The flights will use 99-seat Embraer 190 aircraft, which have seating in a two-by-two configuration.
“Along with Frontier's three daily nonstops to Milwaukee, we are pleased to offer very affordable direct service to Denver,” said Daniel Shurz, Frontier vice president of strategy and planning, in a statement.”
Special introductory fares - $59 each way - are available on Frontier's website for a limited time starting Wednesday.
The planes will leave Denver at 3:10 p.m. six days a week, except for Saturdays, and land in Des Moines at 5:45 p.m. Planes will leave Des Moines at 6:15 p.m. and land in Denver at 7:15 p.m.
