More than 200 students at Jefferson High School are the stars of a "lip dub" music video promoting the Cedar Rapids school.
“The creative video is intended to positively promote our students, their involvement in our school, and to highlight the great things that Jefferson High School has to offer,” explained Andrew Eley, facilitator. “The project, called a 'lip dub,' takes popular music and showcases a school's academic and co-curricular opportunities and fun and unique way.”
The video set to the song "Tonight is the Night" by Outasight, is shot in one continuous take. Filming took about an hour.
“I can personally attest to how much fun and excitement this event generated at school,” said Eley. “I am very proud of the work of these students.”
