Independence hosts Dream Team Classic

The Wrestling USA/Cliff Keen Athletic 2015 Dream Team Classic will be held at Independence High School on Saturday, April 11. A select group of Iowa wrestlers will dual an all-star team of the nation's top senior wrestlers.
Team Iowa will include Union Community teammates Max Thomsen and Jacob Holschlag. Thomsen, who signed to wrestle at University of Northern Iowa, became Iowa's 24th four-time state champion and all-time wins leader in February. Maquoketa Valley's two-time state champion Ryan Parmely and Independence state champ and Iowa State signee Chase Straw are listed as part of the Iowa lineup.
Iowa City West hosted the event in 2008.
