Iowa Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds has been appointed secretary of the Republican National Convention by Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus.
The Republican National Convention will be held in Tampa next week, where she and Gov. Terry Branstad will join Iowa's delegation for numerous events through Thursday night.
“It is an honor to be asked to serve as Secretary of the convention, and I want to thank Chairman Priebus for entrusting me with this position,” said Reynolds, from Des Moines. “I look forward to working with my fellow assistant secretaries of the Convention to ensure that we highlight our party's great ideas for moving the economy forward and creating jobs in our country.”
