Carletta Knox-Seymour is a strong candidate

To the editor:

Please vote for Carletta Knox-Seymour for Cedar Rapids City Council At-Large. A community like Cedar Rapids to thrive must uplift the community as a whole. It must have leaders who are willing to do the work and hear diverse voices of the citizens of Cedar Rapids. We need leaders who reflect the makeup of our citizens and can relate to their experiences. She knows how to start and run a business, balanced with community advocacy and investing her time and talent serving on the city planning commission. She will bring a strong voice and spirit while representing and listening to all Cedar Rapid's citizens.

We need her voice to listen to our seniors who need a center of their own. We need her leadership to listen to those who need a more robust transportation system to reach their jobs and schools. We need her to work toward fair housing, a living wage and to represent many voices.
