Delores J. Stoddard, 85, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019, surrounded by her family.
Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Delores was born on Feb. 2, 1933, in Sterling, Neb., the daughter of Fred and Eda (Solomon) Weber. Dolores graduated from Sterling High School. She was united in marriage on July 4, 1959, to Alex "Jack" Stoddard. They had two sons, Ricky and Craig Stoddard. Delores worked in retail for Giant Store, Jack's and Shopko. She was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Delores was a Westdale Mall walker and enjoyed camping. Her greatest joy was her family. Delores was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Delores is survived by her son, Ricky (Cindy) Stoddard of Cedar Rapids, and their children, Emily Floerchinger and Isaiah Stoddard; grandson, Tyler Stoddard; brother, Dareld (Carolyn) Weber of Sterling, and their family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex "Jack" Stoddard; parents, Fred and Eda Weber; son, Craig Stoddard; and brother, Dale Weber.
