Arthur Canter, 97, of Iowa City, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
A memorial Celebration of Life will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 at Agudas Achim Synagogue, 401 E. Oakdale Blvd., Coralville. A private burial was held in Iowa City.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Iowa City or the Arthur and Miriam Canter Rare Books Room of the Rita Benton Music Library at the University of Iowa.
