Kerry’s statement was insensitive

To the editor:

In a disconnected and at best an insensitive statement Secretary of State John Kerry on Feb. 25 said the world is safer than ever despite ISIS.

Are you kidding me? If he really believes that then his security budget should be reduced 15-25 percent.

His protection and the entire State Department is obviously not needed as much as before.
