Clinton, Allen C. 'Charley'
Allen C. “Charley” Clinton, 71 of Norway, Iowa, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Colonial Manor of Amana. Memorial Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, Trinity Lutheran Church, Walford, with the Rev. David Mosher officiating. The family with receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church. A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.
Charley is survived by his wife, Iva; two daughters, Crystal Sebring (Derick) of Davenport and Jolene Austin (Simon) of Squamish, BC, Canada; a son, Vance Clinton of Walford; and six grandchildren, Jack and Michael Austin of Squamish and Hannah, Brooke, Abigale and Madison Sebring of Davenport.
Also surviving are his siblings, Bill Clinton (Pam) of Cedar Rapids, Bob Clinton (Kay) of Cedar Rapids, James Clinton (Janie) of Tama, Carol Sawyer of Marion, Barb Hearron (David) of Cedar Rapids and Kathy Ballew of Hiawatha.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin and Ruth Sadler Clinton; two brothers, Ed and Erwin Jr.; and three sisters, Rosalee Bryant, Sherry Werner and Elaine Myers.
