Bradley Scott Erenberger, 57, of Carrollton, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, April 11, 2015. Celebration of Life services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Burial will follow in Czech National Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until service time.
Brad was born Feb. 9, 1958, in Iowa City, the son of Vernon and Kay (Pennington) Erenberger. He graduated from Jefferson High School, where he was drum major, and the University of Iowa with a degree in business administration in 1981. Brad worked for EDS, Perot Systems Inc., PepsiCo and most recently, Google. He also played drums with a rhythm and blues cover band in Dallas called Danny and the Dinosaurs.
Brad is survived by his daughter, Samantha "Sam" Erenberger of Brooklyn, N.Y.; son, Joshua "Josh" Erenberger of Dallas; granddaughter, Zuri Erenberger of Dallas; his parents, Vernon and Kay Erenberger of Cedar Rapids; brother, Doug Erenberger of Davenport; sister, Sue (Jeff) Hendrickson of Cedar Rapids; along with his aunts and uncles, Robert and Beverly Erenberger of Marion, Beverly Lynch of Cedar Rapids and Gloria and James Fisher of North Liberty.
