Ronald W. Miller, 76, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at his home. Services, with mil-itary rites: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Entombment: Cedar Me-morial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m.
Monday, Dec. 28.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; two daughters, Brenda (Ryan) Greene of Vinton and Rhonda (Dan) Hartman of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Adrienne Zimmerman of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Richard (Ginette) of Mission Viejo, Calif., and Larry (Meredith) of Altoona; and five grandchildren, Justin, Nathan, Roxanne, Abarham and Brandon.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Norman and Lanny; two sisters, Nadine and Donna; and a granddaughter,
Jessica.
Ron was born Sept. 13, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Adrian and Helen Miller. He married Marjorie L. Hartong on July 5, 1962, in Cedar Rapids.
Ron worked at Cherry Burrell in assembly for over 40 years, retiring in 2001. He was president of U.A.W. Local 1024 for nine years.
Ron enjoyed playing golf, softball, boating, camping and especially the time spent with his beloved family and many friends.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
