Vogt, Norma Lea Marie

Norma Lea Marie Vogt, 79, of Marengo, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, June 11, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Marengo. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fairfax. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with a Scripture service at 7 p.m.

Norma is survived by her seven children, Steven W. Lucas (Joyce) of Vinton, Robin D. Lucas (Marlene) of Nevis, N.M., Brian P. Lucas of La Crosse, Wis., Brenda M. Roshar (Ben) of Center Point, Marlene N. Lucas of Bemidji, Minn., Kathleen L. Lucas Vrba (Frank) of Marengo and David S. Anthony (Lucinda) of Davenport; 17 grandchildren, Steven, Amber, Robin Jr., Rachel, Rebecca, Peggy Sue, Stacey, Brian, Renee, Kathleen, Scott, Austin, Joshua, Bridget, Robert, Aaren and Daniel; 31 great-grandchildren; and her special friend, Stanley Brock. Also surviving are two sisters, Bette McLean (Jack) and Bernita Zimmerman (Nik), both of California, and her beloved dog, Toby.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bernice (Hasley) Sullivan; a sister, Marlene; two nephews, Chuck and Bill; and a niece, Carrie.

A memorial fund has been established.
