Oellrich, Lester Allen
Lester Allen Oellrich, 59, of Marion, Iowa, passed with the comfort of family on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013. There will be a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at 515 W. Ninth Ave., Marion, IA 52302. Lester was born June 23, 1954, in Lawton, Okla., to Otto and Audrey (Topping) Oellrich. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Lester is survived by his mother, Audrey Oellrich; sisters, Debbie Schierholz, Jessie Ketelsen, Dee (Kevin) Zimmerman, Jane (Steve) Thatcher and Amy Oellrich; brothers, John (Camella) Oellrich and Roger (Donna) Oellrich; several nieces and nephews; and two close friends, Mike and Margaret.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otto Oellrich; and significant other, Patty.
Lester enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends in his man cave.
