Kaufman, Mary Lou
Mary Lou Kaufman, 86, of Washington, died Tuesday Dec. 15, 2009 at the United Presbyterian Home following a short illness.
Celebration of life services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19th at the United Presbyterian Church in Washington with Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Visitation will begin noon Friday at the Jones - Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 Friday evening. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials have been established to United Presbyterian Home, United Presbyterian Church or to the WCCWD (Washington County Citizens with Disabilities.) Mary Lou is survived by her son, Ronald Kaufman and wife Janet of Wellman; son, Wayne Kaufman and wife Becky of Washington; son, Louis Kaufman and wife Liza of Urbandale; daughter, Donna Kaufman of Washington; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and her brother, Mel Goodwin of Sun City, Ariz.
