Ronald Graesser, 61, of Hiawatha, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, at his home. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Burial will be in the West Amana Cemetery. Visitation: noon until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
Ronald is survived by a son, Aaron (Melissa) of Brookfield, Wis.; three daughters, Ivana Preuss (James) of Bartlett, Ill., Marisa Williams (Daniel) of Milwaukee, Wis., and Jessica Graesser of Milwaukee, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; his father, Ivan of Marion; and two brothers, David (Shauna) of Amana and Gerry (Jeannie) of Addison, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Ronald Ivan Graesser was born April 7, 1954, in Marengo, Iowa, the son of Ivan and Donna Bishof Graesser. He graduated from the Amana High School in 1972 and attended the University of Iowa, graduating in 1979 with a degree in pharmacy. He married Susan Seeling in Rock Island, Ill., in 1974. The couple later divorced. Ronald was employed as a pharmacist from 1978-81. He currently was residing in Hiawatha.
