Letter: A clarification for cable news viewers

I'd like to help clarify the confusion regarding a comparison of the 9/11 Memorial and Confederate monuments seen recently on the cable news show 'Fox & Friends.”
One is a memorial to the people who were killed by folks who wanted to destroy America. The others are memorials to people who wanted to destroy America. It's that simple.
