NORTH DAKOTA STATE at IOWA
Marc Morehouse (2-1, 4-2) — Don't ask any of the North Dakota people if they've seen the movie 'Fargo.' They probably get that a lot. Iowa 34, NDSU 17
Mike Hlas (2-1, 3-3) — 'Fargo' was nominated for seven Academy Awards. 'Cedar Rapids' was nominated for none. Today, Iowa gets revenge. Iowa 42, NDSU 21
Jeremiah Davis (2-1, 3-3) — The Bison will be the best team Iowa has faced to date, but NDSU's FBS winning streak ends. Iowa 27, NDSU 13.
Beth Malicki (3-0, 4-2) — I'm pro-Bison, so long as it's in a burger topped with avocado. Iowa 34, NDSU 17
Zach Hanley (3-0, 5-1) — Bigger up front, faster in the backfield and stronger thanks to Chris Doyle. Hawks stampede the Bison. Iowa 42, NDSU 17
Todd Brommelkamp (2-1, 3-3) — There were more bison in 'Dances with Wolves' than there were wolves. What was the deal with that? Iowa 34, NDSU 21
IOWA STATE AT TCU
Morehouse — Iowa State's world right now can best be described in this Steven Wright line, 'Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.' TCU 42, ISU 7
Hlas — The last FBS team to beat North Dakota State was Iowa State, in 2009. Which also happens to be the last time I vacuumed. TCU 42, ISU 21
Davis — Some day, in the Matt Campbell era, this will be a close matchup. Today will not be that day. TCU 42, ISU 10.
Malicki — A Horned Frog looks like me when, as the Generation Z kids would say, my 'eyebrows on fleek.' TCU 48, ISU 16
Hanley — ISU defense has been MIA for two weeks, Campbell doesn't find them in Fort Worth. TCU 52, ISU 14.
Brommelkamp — Horned frogs hunt by remaining motionless and waiting for prey. Mother Nature and Big 12 football both are cruel mistresses. TCU 49, ISU 10
OHIO STATE AT OKLAHOMA
Morehouse — A victory in this modest event might be the very thing that pushes the Ohio State Buckeyes to some sort of national prominence. You've got to root for the little guys. Ohio State 37, Oklahoma 10
Hlas — People ask me how the order of panelists here is determined. Seniority? No. Alphabetical order? No. Bribes and intimidation? Well, duh. Oklahoma 42, Ohio State 21
Davis — Does this count as a 'Big Game Bob' game where Oklahoma hangs around for a bit but loses by 14? Nah. Ohio State 35, Oklahoma 31
Malicki — You cannot eat a buckeye raw. Ohio State 24, Oklahoma 20
Hanley — Better athletes and Urban Meyer trumps a Sooner home field advantage. Ohio State 24, Oklahoma 21
Brommelkamp — Country music legend Roger Miller grew up in Erick, Okla., but Ohio State will be kings of the road in Norman. Ohio State 28, Oklahoma 21
