Catherine "Katie" Cooney, 86, of Victor, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids. A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Victor, with the Rev. Brian Shepley officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Victor. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Smith Funeral Home, with the family present to greet friends from 5 until 7 p.m.
Memorials may be designated to the Catherine Cooney Memorial Fund and mailed c/o Smith Funeral Home, P.O. Box 485, Victor, IA 52347.
