Kurt Hudson Kuebler, 58, of Iowa City, formerly of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016, at Manor Care Health Services, Waterloo, after a short illness.
He was born July 23, 1957, in Sioux City, son of
Eugene and Patti McClain Kuebler. Kurt graduated from Waterloo West High School and the University of Iowa. He had a 25-year career as a medical research associate at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Edward's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Public visitation will be for an hour before services at the church. Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway in Waterloo is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice, Waterloo, or Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Norwalk, Conn.
