Wiedemeier, Mary
Mary Wiedemeier, 86, of Swisher, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011, at the Keystone Nursing Care Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight and for an hour before services Friday at Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids.
Mary was born June 15, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Joseph W. and Stella A. (Kolar) Balsanek. She married Vernon H. Wiedemeier of Victor and they lived in Swisher. Mary retired from College Community Schools, Cedar Rapids, in 1996.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Marilyn L. Netolicky of Alpine, Calif., and Marlene L. Baustain of Brooklyn; sons, Kenneth W. Netolicky of Bullhead City, Ariz., William M. Netolicky of Alpine, Calif., Robert A. Netolicky of Kennewick, Wash., and Craig A. Wiedemeier of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Jeff Pierce, Dustin, Kelly, Michelle and Lindsay Netolicky, J. James Tomash, Justin and Jessica Wiedemeier, Lewis, Morgan, and Madison Baustain; and her brother, Donald Balsanek of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; parents; and brothers, William and James Balsanek.
