Collins Community Credit Union adding southwest CR branch

Collins Community Credit Union will open a new southwest branch in June.

The new full-service branch will be in the Wheatland Neighborhood Centre at 5761 Wheatland C Street SW, near Jersey's Pub and Grub and Farrell's.

The branch will provide convenience for credit union members living and working on the southwest side of Cedar Rapids, as well as Ely, Mount Vernon, Lisbon and other nearby communities, according to Jerry Burns, the credit union's vice president, branch oprations.

"We feel expanding into this growing area will allow us to serve our existing members, as well as welcome new members to our credit union,” Burns said in prepared remarks.

Membership in Collins Community Credit Union is open to anyone living or working in Linn, Johnson, and the surrounding counties.
