Two teens hurt in Linn County crash

Linn County sheriff's deputies are investigating an early-morning crash that resulted in relatively minor injuries to two teenagers.
Deputies became aware of the accident shortly after 3:30 a.m. when Michael G. Just, 18, of 2603 Townhouse Dr. NE, sought treatment at Mercy Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, according to sheriff's Sgt. Richard Yoder.
Deputies later found Just's vehicle in the ditch along Dows Road about a quarter-mile south of Cottage Grove Parkway, "embedded in a utility pole," according to Yoder.
A passenger, Logan Drewelow, 17, of 610 41st St. NE, was located at home. He declined medical treatment.
The investigation continues and charges are pending.
