White, Elmer John
Elmer John White, 81, of Petersburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011, at the Continuing Care Hospital at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a farming accident. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg.
Surviving are his wife, Mary; and six children, Mary Beth (Brian) Shapcott of Iowa City, Mark (Sandi) White of Colesburg, Barb White (special friend Tom Kindred) of Dubuque, Nancy (Roger) Burkle of Petersburg, Charlie (Jenny) White of Earlville and Joe (Stacey) White of Dyersville.
