Grout, Russell E.
Russell E. Grout, 63, of Marengo, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2012, in a semi-truck accident. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Marengo, with Father Joseph Roost officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Marengo, with military honors. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with a Scripture service at 3:30 p.m. and a Knights of Columbus Service at 7:30 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established.
Russell is survived by his wife, Karen; two daughters, Rhonda Pudil (Robert) of Iowa City, and Gretchen Kochuyt (Jon) of Marengo; two stepgrandchildren, Zach and Ashley Kochuyt; and a soon-to-be stepgreat-granddaughter; and a sister, Rita Wenger (John) of Sarcoxie, Mo.
Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Dorotha Smalley Grout; and a niece, Victoria Wenger.
