Krejci, Russell W.
Russell W. Krejci, 92, of Oxford Junction, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died early Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Private family services will be held at a later date. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service, Cedar Rapids, is serving the family.
Russell is survived by his wife of 69 years, Leanna; a granddaughter, Renee (David) Schwantes, Lancaster, Wis.; and two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Cara Schwantes.
Russell was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Cedar Rapids, and lived there for many years before moving to Oxford Junction. In Cedar Rapids, he and his wife owned and operated Tommy's Oil Station.
