Vandivier, Joe Faye
Joe Faye Vandivier, 71, of Earlville, died Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Regional Medical Center, Manchester. There will be no services. Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Earlville, is in charge of arrangements.
Joe was born Nov. 6, 1939, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of LeRoy and Gailene (Pebbles) Ashley. Joe enjoyed crocheting, picnics and NASCAR.
She is survived by a daughter, Laurie (Jesus) Rumbo of Earlville; five grandchildren, Kevin Jones, Harold Green, Angel Rumbo, Lucas Rumbo and Jr. Rumbo; and three sisters, Rose (Joe) Cooksley of Earlville, Tressa (Irvin) Youngbear of Tama and Donna (Tom) Fredrickson of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Patricia Merchant, Frances Healy, Lois Olstead and Judy McCracken; and a brother, Virgil LeRoy “Butch” Ashley.
