Reifenstahl, Tina (Dolley)
Tina (Dolley) Reifenstahl, 39, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2012, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha after a long courageous battle with cancer. Per Tina's request her body has been donated to the University of Iowa for research. There will be no services at this time and burial service will take place at a later date.
Tina was born May 31, 1973, to Walter and Jan (Besta) Dolley. She graduated from Vinton-Shellsburg in 1991. Tina worked for Cost Cutters in Cedar Rapids until her health forced her to stop working. On July 22, 1995, she was united in marriage to Dan Reifenstahl.
Tina is survived by her husband, Dan of Vinton, stepdaughter, Trish Reifenstahl of Ames; her mother, Jan (Gene) Kerr of Hot Springs, Ark.; her father, Walter (Debra) Dolley of Cedar Rapids; aunts, uncles, cousins and Dan's family.
The family would like to make a special thank-you to the Mercy Hospice staff for the compassion shown to Tina and her family at this difficult time. They would also like to thank all the family, friends and neighbors for flowers, cards, food, memorials, kind words and support. Everyone's kindness and thoughtfulness will always be remembered.
