Clement, Daniel E.
Daniel E. Clement, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died at home, Friday, Dec. 9, 2011. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel by the Rev. William B. Harnish. Interment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Dan is survived by his family, Mike and Aimee Kimpton and their children; as well as many other friends he called family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Agnes Clement; as well as his brother, Donald.
Dan was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Cedar Rapids, to Edward and Agnes Clement. He was the parts coordinator for Rockwell Collins for many years, retiring in 1990. Dan was a member of the American Legion, V.F.W., the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Club. Dan was also a proud Navy veteran, serving during the Korean conflict. Dan also enjoyed bowling and participated in the May City league for many years.
