Goehring, Sue Ann
Sue Ann Goehring, 61, of Center Point, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at the Community Center in Urbana. Iowa Cremation is assisting the family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Goehring of Urbana; son, Paul (Patty) Dennis of Cedar Rapids; granddaughters, Katie and Erika Dennis of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Sandy (Mitch) McGrath of Amana, Shirley (Randy) Peacock of Senoia, Ga., Steve (Jean) Etten of Covington, Scott (Ginger) Etten of Luzerne, Shari Morrison of Shellsburg, Spencer (Lisa) Etten of Shellsburg, and Henry (Elizabeth) Etten of Cedar Rapids; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; and her special dog, Lilly.
Sue Ann Goehring was born April 7, 1951, the daughter of Marvin and Betty Brignac Etten. She was united in marriage to Roger Goehring on July 2, 1988, in Guttenberg, Iowa. Susie's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends.
She was loved and respected by her friends and community and will be dearly missed.
Memorial contributions can be made in Susie's name to St. Luke's Hospice.
