Theresa Mary Oberreuter, 89, of Manchester, passed away March 19, 2014, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester fol-lowing a brief illness. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 24, at St. Patrick's Catholic
Church in Ryan by Father Dennis Quint and Father Richard Gaul. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 23, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home in Manchester, with a Scripture service at 2 p.m. Additional visitation will be one hour before services Monday at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Ryan.
Theresa was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Spencer Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Peter and Elizabeth (Reuter) Michael. On Nov. 26, 1946, she was united in marriage to Francis Oberreuter.
Theresa was a member of the Parish Choir, Catholic Daughters of America, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 692 and Catholic Order of Foresters.
She enjoyed playing cards in numerous card clubs, loved traveling and was devoted to her faith, family and friends.
Theresa is survived by her children, Ray (Sandra) Oberreuter of Battle Ground, Wash., Dennis (special friend, Lynette Welch) of Waubeek, Steven (Gail) Oberreuter of Manchester and Brian (Kathy) Oberreuter of Ryan; 10 grandchildren, Rick, Kevin, John, Sheila, Jessica, Michael, Dax and Cassidy Oberreuter, Christie Hammock and Jamie Jordan; four great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Peyton, Collyns and Bentley; and six brothers, Raymond, Bernard (Sandra), Harold (Betty), Gerald, Anthony (Delores) and Edward (Anna Mae) Michael.
Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis, on Jan. 21, 1993; a brother, Joe Michael; a sister, Virginia Thoman; and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Michael, Betty Michael and Mar-garet Michael.
