Charge officers who shoot the unarmed

Iowans for Prevention of Gun Violence and/or pro-life religionists, write this newspaper and tell us:
1. In cases of a violent attack, who should be killed, the attacker or would-be victim? 2. That case in Florida two years ago that made national news. If George Zimmerman had not been armed, but had been killed while having his head pounded on the pavement by his attacker, would Zimmerman have been politically correct? 3. If Zimmerman had been a police officer, would there have been any trial or would he have been given a hero's reward?
4. Do you have any objection about law enforcement personnel shooting multiple times with the most deadly kind of bullets to kill rather than to stop unarmed and non-attacking citizens who are carrying a pop can or telephone or reaching for a billfold or a pair of glasses or standing there or going the other direction or didn't follow orders? In many such cases, law enforcement personnel aren't charged but made to be heroes. 5. How many such unarmed and non-attacking citizens are gunned down by law enforcement personnel within any length of time? I've asked several U.S. and state lawmakers, but got no straight answers. 6. Whatever happened to equal justice for all?
Any common citizen shooting someone for the above excuses/situations would be convicted of murder.
