Coghlan, Rosemary A.

Rosemary A. Coghlan, 75, of Manchester, died July 20, 2010, at the Good Neighbor Home. A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the Delaware County Community Center. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, Iowa, is in charge of the arrangements.

Rosemary was born Nov. 7, 1934, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Monte and Stella (Payer) Smith. She was united in marriage on Feb. 3, 1961, to Earl Coghlan. Rosemary most recently worked as a clerk for Dollar General in Manchester until this last Easter.

Rosemary is survived by six children, Michael (Barb) Coghlan, Randy (Kay) Coghlan, David (Sherie) Coghlan, Allen (Marilyn) Coghlan, Daniel (Tricia) Coghlan and Brenda (Will) Morris; one stepson, Ron Yarrington; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Stella Albright, Maxine Tompkins and Bernice Gustafson.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Coghlan in 2008; her parents, Monte and Stella Smith; two children, Ann Marie Coghlan and Denise Hain; five brothers, Frank, Joe, Tony, Albert and Freddie; and one sister, Agnes.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Rosemary's name.
