Who's News: New hires, board members

NEW HIRES

MercyCare Pulmonology and Intensive Care hired Dr. Scott Coole (see photo) as a new pulmonology and critical care physician. He is a board certified pulmonologist who specializes in critical care medicine, COPD and lung disease.

PROMOTIONS

Bill Grudzinski (see photo) was appointed director of Rehabilitative Services at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. He had served as manager of outpatient physical therapy.

NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Upper Mississippi Gaming Corp. announced Peggy Degnan (see photo), owner of Square Peggs, a gift and candy shop in Guttenberg, will join UMGC's board of directors.

Iowa Interstate Railroad Ltd. named Dennis Miller (see photo) as vice chairman of the board. Miller was previously president and CEO. Jerome Lipka (see photo) was promoted to president and CEO. Lipka joined the company in 2008 as vice president and chief financial officer.

Mark Dreusicke (see photo), owner of Toyota of Iowa City, was elected to the board of Two Rivers Bank & Trust.
