Martin, Elden Eugene 'Marty'
Elden Eugene “Marty” Martin, 78, of Morrow, Ga., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Nov. 24, 2009, at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Ga. Services: 2 p.m. Friday at The Village Church, Hapeville, Ga., by Pastor Ray Waters. Burial: Westwood Gardens, Griffin, Ga.
Survivors include his wife, Lois; children, Steven Martin, Gayla Tolbert, Carles Skeesick and Tracy Creekmur; sister, Bonnie Pansegrau; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a niece and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Marie Martin; and a son, Travis Martin.
Born in Lavonia, Mo., he moved to Morrow, Ga., in 1991. He was owner of Family Tradition manufactured housing until February 2009. He was selling manufacturing housing since 1954. He married Lois Hall in June 1953.
Memorials may be given to The Village Church in Hapeville, Ga.
