RICHARD W. JEDLICKA
Cedar Rapids
Richard "Dick," 78, passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2016, in Fort Pierce, Fla. He was born in Cedar Rapids on Oct. 18, 1937.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry; his mother, Velma; and a brother, Raymond.
Richard was a 1955 graduate of Roosevelt High School, where he was active in sports and extracurricular activities. He attended the University of Iowa and served in the U.S. Army in Germany for two years.
He is survived by his best friend, Linda Salisbury; three daughters, Kim Van Somer, Lori (Steve) Ciceroni and Mary (Randy) Monnin; four grandchildren, Travis (Jen) Ciceroni and Trevor Ciceroni, Tiffany (Bobby) Johnson and Chandler (Nicole) Monnin; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Johnson and Aiden Ciceroni; a sister, Kathy Jedlicka; and a sister-in-law, Margo Jed.
