King’s words are disgrace to nation
The Gazette Opinion Staff

On Aug. 9, I went to the Iowa State Fair and stopped at the Democratic Party booth. I told the people at the booth that Iowa 4th District Rep. Steve King needs to be voted out of office. The Democrats in that district in Iowa need to elect a conservative Democrat in the next primary election. They need to have someone that some Republicans will vote for in the general election.
King is a disgrace to the state and the United States of America. He is dividing this country. I do not claim King as my fellow American. He acts more like a Confederate.
The recent slurs that King made toward immigrants are lies. They do not have calves the size of a cantaloupe but there are probably some immigrants picking cantaloupes out of fields and lifting cantaloupes in the packing sheds.
The sooner King gets voted out of politics the better it is for every one.
