North Liberty
Lois J. Hoover, 71, formerly of North Liberty, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion following a short illness. A memorial service will be at a later date. Inurnment will be at Memory
Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City at a later date. Brosh Chapel in Cedar Rapids is serving the family.
Lois was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Waterloo, the daughter of V.V. Ethel Hall. Lois married Ray L. Hoover on April 12, 1971, in Missouri.
Lois is survived by a son, Larry Hoover, and a daughter, Lori Schathorst, both of North Liberty; two stepsons, Kirt and Jeff Hoover; two grandchildren; and her sister, LaVerna of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; and her parents.
