Margaret Ann Race Stamp, 88, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at The Woodlands at The Meth-Wick Community.
Margaret was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Chicago, to Frank Blackman and Margaret (Armstrong) Race Sr. She was active in her church. Margaret was a loving, caring mother who enjoyed gardening. She had many fond memories of her youth spent in Florida and the time spent on the farm in Marion.
She is survived by her children, Tim (Carol) Stamp of Marion and Julie Brooks of Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Molly and Jack Stamp; brother, Bob Race of Coral Gables, Fla.; and sister, Gina Race of Tampa, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Frank Race Jr.
