Democrats’ denial of Republican motion is telling

When Democrats gained control of the House of Representatives during recent midterm elections the first bill they passed was HR 1, a sweeping election reform bill.
A motion to recommit was made that said, 'It is the sense of Congress that allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States citizens.”
Iowa's Democratic Reps. Abby Finkenauer, Cindy Axne and Dave Loebsack voted against the motion. In other words, they're willing to be silent when a citizen's vote is devalued and diminished by noncitizens who vote in the jurisdictions that allow it for local elections.
Keep voting for Democrats and this scenario will eventually come to a precinct near you. Why? Because the rationale that allows noncitizens to vote in local elections today will be exactly the same one allowing them to vote in state and federal elections tomorrow.
