Steve Kullander, 82, of Cedar Rapids, passed away
on June 28, 2018. Steve was born in Cedar Rapids on March 19, 1936, the son of Roy and Ellen (Linder) Kullander.
Steve enjoyed basketball, softball, bowling, but most importantly spending time with his family. He was employed by MetLife.
Left to cherish Steve's memories are his wife, Sue; children, Kris (Mark) Sargent, Rick (Jaqueline) Kullander, Scott (Christine) Kullander, Jim (Julia) Kullander and Sheri (Brian) Kempkes; grandchildren, Matt, Kelsie, Hanna, Andrew, Thomas and Katelyn; and great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Finnley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home, 4200 First Ave. NE, with a rosary at 3 p.m. A funeral Mass will take place at 2 p.m. July 2, 2018, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 120 Fifth St. NW, Cedar Rapids. Interment will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Mercy, Catholic Worker House, Metro Catholic Outreach, Community Health Free Clinic or Bridgehaven.
