Ronni Marie Bell (Seegmiller), 27, of Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at her home surrounded by family after a 14-month battle with leukemia. Funeral services: 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with visitation one hour before the service.
Ronni was born Sept. 30, 1989, in Council Bluffs, the daughter of Jim and Tonya (Bell) Retz. On Dec. 12, 2012, she was married to Justin Seegmiller. Ronni graduated from Kennedy High School in 2008. She worked for the Cleaning Authority for two years before her illness. In her free time, Ronni enjoyed fishing and camping. She also enjoyed country music and attending concerts. More than anything, Ronni loved her family.
She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Justin Seegmiller; three children, Brayden, Brooklyn and Jaxon; siblings, Kati Bell, Noah Retz and Hannah Retz; parents, Jim and Tonya Retz; grandparents, Gary and Melody Molacek and Richard Retz; uncle, Brandon (Amber Swanson) Clay; aunt, Tina Clay; niece, Alexis Bell; cousin, Heather Bell; special friend, John Skalsky; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty Retz; and uncle, Ron Bell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for her three children.
