Robyn S. Furmanski, 62, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016. Memorial: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 17, at Cedar Valley Bible Church, Cedar Rapids. Private family burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include daughter, Carrie (Jeremy) Farmer of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Kyleigh and Owen Farmer; and a sister, Lois (Tim) Webb of Lake Elsinore, Calif.
Robyn was born Oct. 19, 1953, in Hammond, Ind., to Jerome and Carol (Czyz) Furmanski. Robyn worked for the Cedar Rapids Community School District for over 30 years. Robyn was a lover of the outdoors and all wildlife. She owned many different kinds of animal during her life including birds, snakes, turtles, lizards, fish, dogs and cats. She adored her dog, Laila, and took her everywhere she went. She also loved being around people and made friends easily and could talk your ear off for hours! She had witty sense of humor and a kind heart. She will be greatly missed.
