Lavelle leaving RoughRiders

Cedar Rapids RoughRiders radio play-by-play man Brian Lavelle is leaving the United States Hockey League club for a radio job with a professional hockey team, the RoughRiders are expected to announce later today.
Lavelle has been with the RoughRiders as director of broadcasting and media relations for eight seasons and is arguably the top play-by-play man in the USHL.
His destination will be officially announced Thursday.
